Summer weather is here and in Washington, D.C. that means rooftop & patio happy hour season has begun! This week I had the opportunity to stop by Le Diplomate to launched an exciting new L'Apero program for cocktail tastings, demonstrations, and presentations of new L'Apero dishes!
What is L'Apero you ask? At Le Diplomate they describe it as "the most melodic moment of the day", which in France is the transition between the workday and evening also known as "happy hour" to Americans. That means from 4:30-6:00pm during the week Le Diplomate will offer a variety of specials from their new menu so that's definitely something to cheers too!
Enjoyed a fun afternoon of chatting with other guests, bubbly aperitif cocktails, delicious French-inspired favorites like French onion gratinee poutine, mushroom tarts and foie gras macarons.
